Arrive in Tirana and transfer to our hotel for a short break. The walking tour start from Skanderbeg Square, (photo stop at Skanderbeg’s Monument), National Museum (the huge mosaic on front represent the Albanian history development and the stages of this development are presented on respective pavilions) then you continue to see other important buildings: Palace of Culture, Opera House, National Library, Mosque of Ethem Bey, the Clock Tower, Tirana Castle, Parliament, Ura e Tabakeve, National Art Gallery, mean government buildings, catholic and orthodox cathedrals, the Pyramid, Prime Minister building, Palace of congresses, Mother Teresa Square, Presidential palace, Ex-Blloku (which used to be the most beautiful and protected zone were the ex-communist leaders families lived). Visit the Cold War corner (one Bunker, part of famous Spac Political Prison, and a piece from Berlin Wall). Overnight in Tirana.
After breakfast, we proceed to Ohrid. Ohrid is a small resort city on the hilly shores of Lake Ohrid in the southwest of the Republic of Macedonia. In the city’s compact old town, medieval churches, monasteries and open-air ruins stand alongside traditional houses with red-tiled roofs. The massive walls of the centuries-old Samoil’s Fortress, at the top of the hill, dominate the city skyline. Ovenight in Ohrid.
After breakfast we will drive to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Skopje has plenty of charm. Its Ottoman and Byzantine era sights are focused around the city’s delightful Old town , bordered by the 15th-century Stone Bridge and Fortress Kale Skopje’s guardian since the 6th century. Overnight in Skopje.
After breakfast we will drive to Prishtina, the capital of Kosova. Pristina is the cultural, economic, and administrative center of the Kosovo with a long history. In a full day tour to Pristina, you can discover archeological sites, monuments protected by UNESCO, very old Ottoman places, narrow stone streets and attractive tall buildings. The “New Born” monument is becoming the symbol of this new state. Overnight in Pristina.
After breakfast we will drive to Budva and Kotor. Budva – is a town in Montenegro on the Adriatic Sea. Part of the Budva Riviera, it’s known for sandy beaches and nightlife. Stone walls built by the Venetians surround the narrow streets of the medieval old town. This historic district is home to a seaside citadel and religious sites such as the Church of Santa Maria in Punta, established in the 9th century. Kotor – Medieval old town has several Romanesque churches, including Kotor Cathedral. It’s also home to the Maritime Museum, which explores local seafaring history. Overnight in Kotor.
After breakfast we will drive to Dubrovnik. Short stop and sightseeing the city of Game of Thrones. Dubrovnik historically known as Ragusa is a city in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, by the Adriatic Sea. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Balkan area. It’s known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Transportation to Split. Split city sightseeing tour. Croatia’s second-largest city has plenty of things to do for visitors, especially the historic sites within the Palace of Diocletian, which is a World Heritage Site. Overnight in Split.
After breakfast we will drive to Plitvice. Plitvice Lakes is the oldest and the largest national park in Croatia. The exceptional natural beauty of this area has always attracted nature lovers. As a result of that, it was declared the first national park in Croatia as early as 8 April 1949. Zagreb city sightseeing tour. Zagreb, Croatia’s northwestern capital, is distinguished by its 18th- and 19th-century Austro-Hungarian architecture. At its center, Upper Town is the site of the Gothic, twin-spired Zagreb Cathedral and 13th-century St. Mark’s Church, with a colourfully tiled roof. Nearby is pedestrian-friendly Tkalčićeva Street, lined with outdoor cafes. Lower Town has the main square, Ban Jelačić, plus shops, museums and parks. Overnight in Zagreb.
After breakfast we will drive to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Ljubljana city sightseeing tour. Ljubljana is the green capital of a green country. The area on either side of the river with its picturesque bridges and the central market owes its distinctive appearance to the great architect Jože Plečnik. The city of thousands of events is surrounded by parks and areas of protected nature. Overnight in Ljubljana.
