Tour Itinerary
- After we meet we will visit Tirana and the first visit will be the second largest square in Europe, Skanderbeg square.
- Then we will visit, Clock tower, culture palace. After, we will walk to the house of leaves, the Museum of Secret Surveillance, one of the most unusual and fascinating museums in Albania. We will stop at the Bunkart, a former Cold War bunker that is now home to an underground contemporary art and history museum.
- After visiting the city, it's time to leave the noise of the city and head towards Dajti mountain by cable car and enjoy the most spectacular views of Tirana and the surrounding mountains.
- Overnight in Tirana.
- After breakfast we will drive to Berat but first we will stop to Durres and in Durres we will visit the Amphitheater and Venetian Tower. Walk of the seaside boardwalk and the most popular neighborhoods of Durres, with stops at the Venetian tower and the amphitheater that perfectly represents the rich and fascinating history of the city.
- After we will drive to Berat. The magic city of (One Thousand Windows). In-depth tour of this 15th century castle and we complete the historical journey with a visit to the Onufri Museum. We walk down to the city and explore walk this UNESCO heritage city, including the beautiful Gorica Bridge, Mnagalemi quarter, the medieval city center and the local market.
- Overnight in Berat
- After breakfast, we travel to Tirana through the hills of Dumrese, which is also called the Tuscany of Albania. There are 84 karst lakes. The Lakes of Dumrea amaze every one who is fortunate enough to experience them. 160 meters above sea level and located in Dumrea, the karstic lakes are well-known for their unique features and the beautifully harmonious landscapes created by their co-existence.
- Tranfer to Tirana but on the way we will stop to visit a small castle, Petrala Castle. The castle has a rich history. Initially constructed in the 6th century AD, the present building dates back to the 15th century. During Skanderbeg’s fight against the Ottomans, Petrela Castle was under the command of his sister, Mamica Kastrioti. The castle offers spectacular views of the Erzen valley, the hills, olive groves and surrounding mountains. Petrela Castle is situated on a hill 329 metres (1,079 ft) above sea level. Back to Tirana.
